DESCRIPTION

Fc-400 is characterized by having TWO INDEPENDENT CAFS OUTPUTS of 200 l/min each, for a total delivery of 400 l/min caf solution. The two indipendent cafs delivery outputs are 2 X 45 mm (1.5”) with the same foam concentration. With this unit it is possible to have one dry and one wet delivery or both dry or both wet and can work under different conditions: different hose line lengths, different height between the two nozzles (ex: one nozzle at ground floor, second nozzle at the third floor) and different tip diameters on the nozzles.

FC-400 Compact Cafs is is designed to be installed in vehicles which have already installed a PTO and a pump, especially to retrofit and upgrade existing fire trucks. Water is supplied either by vehicle pump or portable pump, without any requirement for modification. Foam is supplied from a 25 liters interchangeable tank or from foam tank already installed in the truck. This cafs is equipped with B&S Vanguard gasoline engine, proportioner, compressor and foam generator.
Due to its compact design and its low weight the unit can be installed on a truck side.

FIRECAFS FOAM AND CONCENTRATION

Firecafs foaming agents have been especially developed for the production of compressed air foam. Threefold firefighting due to cooling, isolation and seperation effect. Unmatched penetration for extinguishing depth and low foaming agent consumption.

  • WHERE: Firecafs foams can be used everywhere: in structural fire extinguishing, road accidents, oil and gas, industry, aviation, recycling, warehouse, boats, exposure protection and wildland fires.
  • CONCENTRATION: Firecafs foams are good at wetting and cooling fuels, suppressing flammable vapors and reducing smoke.
    Firecafs foams also has an opaque surface to reflect heat, creates insulating bubbles, holds water on any surface, is biodegradable and has low mix ratios from 0.1 percent to 1 percent.
  • SPECIAL FEATURES: Firecafs foams increases the ability of water to penetrate fuel sources as much as 1,000 times better by reducing surface tension.
    Firecafs foams enhances water’s ability to cool by as much as 300 percent
  • OTHER FEATURES: Low proportioning rates for long operation times and cost-saving consumption, mixable with fresh water, brackish water and sea water, very good biodegradability of the fluorine-free extinguishing foams

FOAMS

A PLUS – 0,3%

Firecafs A PLUS foam can be used
in a concentration range of:
0,1-0,3% as wetting agent
0,3-2% as foaming, with potable, sea or brackish water for Class A (solid) fires and Class B (hydrocarbon fuels)

A – 0,1-1%

Firecafs A foam can be used at 0,1-3% for Class A fires.
When adding the foam in concentrations as low as 0,1%, the aqueous solution receives excellent wetting characteristics

A-B – 1%

Firecafs Foam A-B  class is fluorine free, low viscosity, newtonian foam concentrate to extinguish hydrocarbon fuels fires and solids.
Concentration class A and B: 1%
